Därefter studeras logistiska aktiviteter i internationella företag såsom transport, sökande av andra leverantörer, tullfrågor, lokala lagar och regler, globala lagringsmöjligheter och import/exportmöjligheter. Speciellt fokus läggs på aktuella händelser och deras inverkan på marknadsföring och logistiska aktiviteter i multinationella företag. International Logistics will begin by giving the student a basic overview of transportation and logistics, as well as logistic principles. It will then move on and study logistics activities in international business with special emphasis on transportation, global sourcing, customs issues, governmental influence, facility location in global environment, and import-export opportunities/restriction. Special emphasis is placed on current events and their effect on the marketing and logistics activities of multinational corporations.
