Kursen fokuserar på patofysiologiska förändringar orsakade av kroniska och icke smittsamma sjukdomar i dagens samhälle. I kursen ingår också hur miljöfaktorer bidrar till dessa sjukdomars uppkomst, spridning och beständighet. Biologin hos behandlingsstrategier och dess begränsningar kommer att täckas inom ramen för att identifiera behovet av vetenskaplig innovation.
The course focuses on pathophysiological changes caused by chronic and non-communicable diseases in today's society. The course also includes how environmental factors contribute to the emergence, proliferation and persistence of these diseases. The biology of treatment strategies and its limitations will be covered within the framework of identifying the need for scientific innovation.
